Meet the Staff at Great Southern Animal Hospital
Dustin B. Sears D.V.M., M.S., B.S.
Dr. Sears
graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in 1993. He joined The Great Southern Animal Hospital
Team as a Veterinary Assistant shortly after graduation. He worked his way through Graduate School earning a Masters of Science in Molecular Genetics in 1996 and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. He remained on the Great Southern Animal Hospital Team for four years as an Associate Veterinarian. In 2004, Dr. Sears became the Supervising Veterinarian and owner. When he is not working, he stays busy with his wife, two sons, and three rescue dogs. His veterinary career has evolved with the patients and clients of The Great Southern Animal Hospital and over the years and he hopes you and your pet will become part of its future.
Kennedy Moore Veterinary Assistant
Kennedy graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in biology in 2024. Kennedy began working at Great Southern Animal Hospital part time during her third year of undergrad. Shortly after graduation, Kennedy joined the team as a full time veterinary assistant! She currently lives in Columbus with her husband Andrew. In addition to her passion for animals, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her friends, family, and loved ones.
Macee Roberts Veterinary Assistant
In 2023, Macee completed her certification in Veterinary Sciences at Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center. After Graduation, Macee started working at Great Southern Animal Hospital in spring 2023. She currently lives in Springfield with her family.
In Macee's free time she enjoys seeing her boyfriend, hanging with friends and showing horses.

Lindsey Eppinger Veterinary Assistant
Lindsey graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Animal Science in 2022 and a master’s degree in animal Nutritional Physiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2024. Lindsey began working at Great Southern Animal Hospital during her senior year at Ohio State and returned after finishing her Master’s degree. She currently lives in Plain City with her boyfriend, two dogs, cat, and 2 Texas Longhorn heifers. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, being outdoors, and helping on her boyfriend’s farm.
