The Great Southern Animal Hospital has been providing the best veterinary care in Columbus Ohio for more than 53 years. We provide full preventative, medical, surgical, and dental care. Yearly health exams and vaccinations are offered, as well as flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Our diagnostic laboratory is equipped to perform heartworm exams, feline leukemia/FIV screening, fecal parasite examinations, urinalysis, radiographic tomography, and complete blood chemistry profiles. We provide surgical care utilizing pre-surgical blood evaluations, a sterile surgical suite, isofturane anesthesia, electrocardiology, histopathology, and pulse monitoring. Dental procedures include ultrasonic cleaning, polishing, fluoride application, and surgery to help eliminate and prevent periodontal diseases.

Dr. Dustin Sears received his degree in veterinary medicine from Ohio State University. He has been at The Great Southern Animal Hospital for the past 12 years. Dr. Sears enjoys what he does and looks forward to helping you and your pet experience a healthy lifestyle.
The hospital is located on South High St., four miles south of Broad St. in downtown Columbus and two miles north of 270 on South High.
